How to Arrange Gas Logs

Firewood for gas fireplaces has become very popular in the last decade. They are specially designed ceramic firewood that never burns. They can be used with natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Now let’s learn how to place gas firewood.

1) Place the largest ceramic firewood at the bottom of the fireplace as the base of the fireplace. The direction of placement depends on the design of the fireplace and the size of the firewood.

2) Leave 5 cm (2 inches) between the firewood.

3) Make sure that none of the firewood is blocking the gas flow. If you find that any firewood is blocking the gas flow, you need to re-arrange the firewood.

4) Place the smaller firewood on the base firewood. It doesn’t have to be neatly arranged. You can let the fire look natural and casual.

5) Turn on the gas and light the fire with a match or an automatic igniter.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy.
